Patricia is 33 years old and lives in Tioga County. She has received services from the PA Elks Home Service Program for the past six years. She has a Learning Disability, ADHD, and Mood Disorder. Her Home Service Nurse, Vera Burrows has worked for the program for 17 years.
Vera has helped Patricia get connected with community resources and has given her information on changing policies, grant information and support groups. She has helped her get enrolled in the transportation program, provided help at Christmas and applied for grants to help her live as independently as possible.
