Margie Wood is a nurse with over 47 years of experience who began her work with the Pa Elks Home Service Program in 1990. She has worked tirelessly in her efforts to positively impact the families and individuals with developmental disabilities across the state of Pennsylvania. Through the years she has taken on many roles within our program, beginning as an Elks Home Service Nurse, Assistant Program Director, Special Projects Director, and Grant Writer. Her positive, caring attitude, her desire to find families and individuals who could benefit from our services, her encouragement to the staff, and her willingness to take the time to listen and support anyone who needs a sympathetic ear will be greatly missed. She has trained and mentored many of us, setting an example of excellence for us to strive towards. We, the staff of the Pa Elks Home Service Program will miss you, but we know you are going to enjoy this next chapter in your life, and we wish you the best in your new ventures.
