Elks Lodge West Shore-Harrisburg 2257 has recently been awarded a 2025-2026 Beacon Grant from the Elks National Foundation (ENF)! This funding will provide $4,000 to any of the Home Service Program’s 138 families in Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry counties experiencing an urgent need and will be disbursed by the Home Service Committee and chair Deb Coombs, in partnership with Unit 8 Home Service Program Nurse Renee Johnson.
The funds will be available throughout the year and will be used for emergency and ongoing necessity items such as food, assistive or adaptive devices, laundry supplies, clothing, school supplies, and much more. We are grateful for the support provided by the Elks National Foundation’s Beacon Grant, the Home Service Committee, and the West Shore-Harrisburg Lodge as we strive to empower our participants to live fulfilling and independent lives.
