We are pleased to welcome Dylan Cralley back as the Honored Adult of the Year for 2026–2027. Dylan was previously recognized as the Honored Child of the Year in 2017–2018, during Peg O’Polka’s term as State President. As close friends of the O’Polka family, it is especially meaningful to have Dylan join us at this year’s March for Home Services while Pete O’Polka serves as State President.
Dylan, now 22, lives at home with his family, has graduated from high school, and is enjoying a full and happy life. His mother, Patty, began working with the Elks Home Service Program shortly after his birth. Over the years, she has partnered with several Home Service nurses—including Dorothy Fornof, Peggy Phillips, Amanda Davis, and now Tiffany Ealy. One of the greatest strengths of the Home Service Program is our lifelong commitment to the individuals we serve, supporting them as their needs evolve from childhood through adulthood. While Dylan is thriving today, Tiffany will continue to be available to assist him in the future should his needs change.
Dylan and his family fondly remember attending the 2018 Elks Spring Convention and participating in the March for Home Service when he was 14. Patty recalls, “It was touching to see all the special attention Dylan received.” Among the many memorable moments, one gift stands out: an American flag flown over the Capitol building in Harrisburg in Dylan’s honor and presented to him during the march. Dylan has always had a deep love for the American flag, making this gesture especially meaningful—and a perfect reflection of his connection to the Elks.
We will be honoring Dylan during this year’s March for Home Services and meeting with this remarkable young man and his wonderful family.
